High concentration of nitrates in well water is a problem that most often affects residents of rural areas, whose property is located in close proximity to farms and farmland. Nitrate can be removed in two ways: centrally, by means of a special sediment filtering column, and in the point of use, by means of reverse osmosis systems.
A method based on filtration on a special medium, whose main task is removing high concentrations of nitrates from water. The medium has a sufficiently large filtration area, which allows the user to get rid of the problem.
Reverse osmosis systems not only remove chlorine, bacteria and viruses from water, but they are also very good at dealing with nitrates. Approximately 90-92% of nitrates are removed from water, so that the user gets clean, safe and healthy water ready for consumption.
