carbon columns
Extremely functional central filters treating water by adsorption on a highly porous carbon medium. They effectively improve taste, smell and colour of filtered water. Recommended in case of water of unfavourable organoleptic qualities, whose composition does not, however, pose a health hazard. The sediment filtering columns are available in different sizes.
Activated carbon filtration
Activated carbon is used to adsorb organic compounds from water and consequently improve its colour or smell. Some types of this deposit are manufactured from coconut shells (characterized by high efficiency). The use of activated carbon filters results in significant improvement the organoleptic properties of water, such as taste, smell and turbidity.
